Buy Telegram accounts: tdata, session and JSON files explained, and how to keep the account
Most problems after buying a Telegram account come from not knowing how the delivery works. Here's what the files are and how to use them.
Why you get files, not a password
Telegram logs you in with a code sent to the phone number. There's no username-and-password login, and the number stays with the seller. So sellers hand over an already-logged-in session instead. The common formats:
tdata. The data folder of Telegram Desktop. Put it in the Telegram Desktop directory, open the app, and you're logged in. The most common and the simplest.
session file. A login credential used by scripts and automation tools.
JSON. Usually paired with a session file. It stores device details and API parameters so the login looks consistent.
The listing tells you which format you get. Many include tdata plus JSON.
New vs. aged accounts
New: registered a few days to a month ago. Cheap and fine for bulk use, but new accounts get limited quickly if they message strangers.
Aged: months to a couple of years old. More trusted, so messaging and adding people to groups is less likely to trigger limits.
What they cost
When this was written (October 2026), our store had about 300 Telegram listings, mostly between $1.50 and $5.50, median around $3.30. Numbers from the UAE and Europe cost more; African and Southeast Asian numbers are cheaper.
Choosing a country
If you just need an account, the country barely matters: pick something cheap with 2FA. If you're building a community in a specific country, choose a local number and use an IP in the same country.
Do this right after you log in
- Set a 2-step verification password, or change the existing one to your own
- Add a login email so you can receive codes by email
- Never log out. Logging back in needs an SMS code you can't receive
- Read-only for the first few days; no mass DMs
If the account gets limited or frozen: Telegram account banned, limited or frozen?
Is buying Telegram accounts safe?
It depends on the seller and on you. Look for a listing that states the delivery format and how to use it, a first-login warranty, automatic delivery and reachable support. Our Telegram accounts page lists country, age, format and warranty for every product. If tdata is new to you, buy one first and ask support if you get stuck.
